RECAP PROJECT

Robotics Experience Center as an open innovation
and shared development center for SMEs and knowledge institutes

The RECAP Testing ground project is a collaboration between SME’s, ESPS and Conway, industrial end-users Vernay Europa B.V. and Wouter Witzel Eurovalve and the knowledge partners University of Twente and Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences. Their mutual goal is developing the REC, an initiative of ESPS, into the knowledge- and innovation center for robotics technology in advanced production processes in the East Netherlands. The REC focuses primarily on the High Tech Systems and Materials sector (HTSM) and the manufacturing industry. ESPS acts as an overall coordinator in this project.

The EFRD (European Fund for Regional Development) with its OP Oost 2014-2020 program, granted the RECap (Robotics Experience Center Als Proeftuin) Testing ground project with corresponding funding.
